“Beef It Up At 1 A.M.:” is a great memory and fun song. My best friend Rashid and I had been hanging out all day, and we had just got back from Burger King that night. He was playing NBA 2K10 on my PS3 while I was going through old beats in my FL (Fruity Loops) folders. We had been talking about beefing it up like everywhere we went that day, and when this beat came on Rashid started singing his own version of beef it up. It just so happened to be 1 A.M. as we decided not to go to sleep since we were driving to Virginia in a few hours. Somehow we thought it would be a pretty nice club song (which I think it came out to be) and we recorded it on one of the last days we saw each other before going to college.
