“Livin’ Thru Da Pain Part II” was the follow up of “Livin’ Thru Da Pain” which was made back in 08-09. This song was inspired by one of Shid and I’s favorite Big Sean songs, “Memories Part II”. I played with the beat a little beat and added some saxophone to give it more of a jazz feel. Both of our vocals and skills have changed since we made the original song, so we felt that it was only right to update everyone on our progress over the years. This was recorded on one of the last nights I saw my best friend Rashid before we both went our separate ways for college after 9 years of being friends. I couldn’t have gotten as far without him motivating and pushing me, and I thank him for that.
